With this system, wind energy is converted into AC electrical energy by the wind turbine. The on grid controller then converts this energy into DC electrical energy, which is further converted into AC electrical energy of the same frequency and phase as the grid by the on grid inverter. A portion of this power is supplied to the local load, while any surplus power is fed into the grid.
